Rashida Jones
Rashida Jones was the youngest daughter
of media producer, mogul Quincy Jones and actress Peggy Lipton. Kidada Jones is
her older sibling. There are five half-siblings from her father's other
relationships. Her father is African American and her mother is Ashkenazi
Jewish (a descendant of exiles from Russia and Latvia). Rashida was raised in
Reform Judaism. Her birthplace was Bel Air, Los Angeles. Jones admitted that
Jones' parents were mixed race and were not acceptable to her in the 1970s.
Jones began her professional acting debut in The Last Don in 1997 A mini-series
that was inspired by Mario Puzo. Rashida was also an Harvard University
graduate in 1997. He attended the Buckley School in Sherman Oaks, California.

The singer was previously married to producer Mark Ronson on 25th February
2003. Niece of Robert Lipton. She was romantically involved with Josh Hartnett,
Charlie Hunnam and John Krasinski. Appeared as a vocalist in the tribute song
to Tupac Shakur, who was married to her sister Kidada Jones. Rashida as well as
Kidada's brother Quincy Jones III produced the track, while their father,
Quincy Jones, made an appearance reciting the lines of the song by Tupac Shakur
"Starry Night" during the introduction. The title of the song was
inspired by the poem. Rashida is an African-American, and has little English,
Scottish, or Welsh family ancestry than his mother (some of his African
ancestors came from the Tikar tribe of Cameroon). Rashida's mother is Ashkenazi
Jewish (of Russian Jewish and Latvian Jewish descent). Her maternal
grandparents were from South Carolina and Mississippi. Her maternal grandfather
was born to New Yorkers, and her maternal grandmother was from Eastern European
Jewish heritage. Since the end of 2009, she was playing three different
characters with the name "Karen" on the cult classic television
comedies (Freaks and Geeks (1999), Stella (2005) and The Office (2005)).
