Tracy Spiridakos

 Tracy Spiridakos, a Canadian actor from Canada. She was a part of the Teletoon children’s comedy series Majority Rules as Becky Richards. From 2009 to 2010, she played Becky Richards in the Teletoon children's show Majority Rules! Between 2009 and 2010, she appeared in the role of Charlotte Matheson (Charlie) in the NBC series Revolution, a post-apocalyptic science-fiction show. The show was nominated for win a Saturn Award as Best Actress on Television. Annika Johnson was her character on the A&E television drama Bates Motel. Spiridakos appeared as Detective Hailey Upton in the A&E TV drama Bates Motel. as Detective Hailey Upton. Spiridakos was brought up in Winnipeg, Manitoba by George Spiridakos and Anastasia Spiridakos, Greek-born restaurant owners. Spiridakos has two brothers. When she was born her family relocated to Skala, Greece, south of Sparta. They returned to Canada in 1992. She is strongly that she is a part of her Greek roots, and is fluent in Greek. Spiridakos began acting in junior high school and then attended the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. In 2000, she graduated from Oak Park High School. Spiridakos relocated to Vancouver in 2007 to pursue acting. She was offered her first television role within weeks, a small part with Supernatural. She was a television actress for several more years with parts on Psych, The L Word, Hellcats and Bionic Woman. Spiridakos made an appearance in the TV movie Goblin and in the web-based television series Mortal Kombat: Legacy. She also was a regular on Being Human, as Brynn McLean who played the werewolf. In 2009, the actress got her first lead role in Majority Rules! Canada, where she played 15-year old Becky Richards. She made her debut as a feature film in the year 2011 with Rise of the Planet of the Apes, and filmed the low-budget MichaelGreenspan-directed thriller, Kill for Me, featuring Donal Logue and Katie Cassidy. Spiridakos was seen as Sammi in the 2012 Nickelodeon original film, Rags. Spiridakos was then offered the main role in Revolution which she played as Charlotte Matheson (survivor of an unimaginative future society), on NBC television. The role was offered to her while attending her first pilot season in Los Angeles. Spiridakos filming the pilot was in Atlanta and the first season in Wilmington. The actress was nominated for an Saturn Award for Best Actress on Television for her role in the first season and was defeated by Anna Torv from Fringe's. Production relocated to Austin, Texas for the second season of the show.
