Kaitlyn Anne Vincie

 Kaitlyn Anne Vincie, born 10th December 1987, is an American journalist and sports broadcaster. As an anchor for Fox NASCAR, she presents on their news and updates program NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie began her interest in stock car racing when she was given an pit lane pass. After graduation from Christopher Newport University she worked at Langley Speedway as a reporter. When SceneDaily released her own self-made video blogs about NASCAR, she gained attention. Vincie was born on December 10, 1987, in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and was raised firstly in Bridgewater before her family moved to Warrenton when Vincie had entered high school. Vincie is the daughter of John and Margaret Vincie. Vincie's grandmother Eleanor N. Logan was a fifth grade teacher while her grandfather was on faculty at Bridgewater College. Journalism was something she'd always been interested in from a young age. Vincie graduated in 2006 from Fauquier High School. Vincie was an athlete in the track and field and was the school's manager for four years. She clinched victory in the 800-meter event of the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie met the journalist Al Pearce who mentored her and also provided Vincie with a large amount of information. She graduated with a bachelor's diploma from Christopher Newport University in 2010. Vincie was an intern in the athletics department at the university. She also worked for Charlotte Motor Speedway's USAR Pro Cup Series. Vincie wrote her senior dissertation about auto racing gender disparity that focussed on Danica Patrick, a female race car driver. She began to become interested in racing after she received an access pass to pit lane for the NASCAR All-Star Race. Her influences include Wendy Venturini, Krista Volda as well as Wendy Venturini.
