Aaron Jeffery

Award-winning New Zealand actor Aaron C. Jeffery is from Australia. His
characters include Terry Watson in Water Rats and Alex Ryan in McLeod's
Daughters. He was also the character Matt "Fletch" Fletcher in
Wentworth. Born in Howick, Auckland, Jeffery moved to Australia at the age of
17 to study acting at NIDA. After graduating from NIDA, he began his career in
television on the children's program Ship to Shore. Jeffery is best known for
his role as Alex Ryan in the drama McLeod's Daughters that was his last show in
the year 2008. He also was a part of the third season of New Zealand drama
Outrageous Fortune. Jeffery appeared in the series Underbelly: Badness as
Frank. He wrapped filming on 22 June. Three days later, Jeffery was officially
confirmed as Bradley Fox's replacement for Neighbours for a period of two
months. In October, it was revealed that Jeffery had been cast as a corrections
officer in the series Wentworth. Bevan Lee's Between Two Worlds was also his
character. In April of 2021, it was announced that Jeffery will be a part of
Pieces of Her, a Netflix thriller series adapted from the Karin Slaughter book.
In McLeod's Daughters, Jeffery was awarded the Silver Logie for Most Popular
Drama Series Actor in 2004 and 2007.
